Terms of Service

Last updated July 29, 2026

Karting Days is a tool for reviewing your own driving. The analyses it produces are generated by an AI model, they are opinions rather than facts, and they are never a substitute for your own judgment about what is safe on track.

1. Who these terms are with

Karting Days (the "Service") is operated by Garage56 ("we", "us"). By downloading the app, linking the web companion, or using the Service in any other way, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

The Service lets you record kart setup sheets, either by photographing a handwritten sheet or by entering the values yourself, attach session notes and telemetry files exported from your data logger, and request AI-generated analysis of that data. A web companion gives you the same data in a browser.

3. There are no accounts

The Service deliberately has no usernames, no passwords, and no email sign-up. Your data is tied to an anonymous identifier created on your device, plus a recovery secret stored in your device keychain. That is a privacy decision, and it has a consequence you need to understand.

If you lose your device and its keychain has not been restored to a replacement, we cannot recover your data. We have no email address to verify you with and no way to prove that data belongs to you, so nobody at Karting Days can restore access. Keep your device backups current.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Some features require a paid subscription. Purchases are made through your Apple Account and are handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment card details.

  • Karting Days, $29 per month. Includes 10 telemetry analyses per monthly billing period. Unused analyses do not carry over.
  • Analysis bundle, $12. Adds 5 analyses on top of your monthly allowance. Bundles do not expire, and they are drawn from only after the monthly allowance for that period is used up.
  • Free trial. New installs include a small number of free analyses so you can evaluate the Service before paying. The trial is measured in analyses, not in days.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the period you are already in.

Refunds are issued by Apple under Apple's policies, not by us. We can neither grant nor refuse a refund on Apple's behalf.

Prices and included analysis counts may change. We will not change the price of a period you have already paid for, and Apple will ask for your consent before charging an increased price on a renewal.

5. What you own, and what you let us do with it

Your setup sheets, photographs, notes, and telemetry files remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us the limited permission needed to actually run the Service: to store your content, to transmit it, and to send the relevant parts to the AI provider that produces your analyses. We do not use your content to advertise to you, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. If you import another driver's telemetry for a comparison, that is between you and them.

6. AI-generated analysis

Analyses, setup recommendations, and chat answers are produced by an AI model working from the data you provide. They can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken. They are suggestions for you to evaluate, not instructions to follow.

Motorsport is dangerous. Do not make a decision that affects the safety of a kart, a driver, or anyone else at a circuit on the basis of anything this Service tells you. Setup changes are your responsibility, and so is deciding whether a kart is fit to run.

Lap times, sector splits, and channel data are derived from the files you supply. We do not verify them against timing systems, and we make no claim that they are accurate for competition or scrutineering purposes.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to bypass the analysis limits, the entitlement checks, or any other quota in the Service;
  • upload content you do not have the right to upload, or content that is unlawful;
  • probe, scan, or attack the Service's infrastructure, or use the Service to attack anyone else;
  • resell or redistribute the Service, or the analyses it generates, as your own product.

We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules, without notice where the alternative is ongoing harm.

8. Sharing

The Service lets you create a link giving someone else read-only access to an event. Those links expire, and you approve each viewer individually. Anything you choose to share is your decision and your responsibility. Revoke a share in the app if you change your mind.

9. Availability

We do not promise the Service will be uninterrupted. Analyses depend on third-party infrastructure, including an AI provider, and can fail or be delayed for reasons outside our control. When an analysis fails, the credit it consumed is returned to you automatically.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service entirely we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data, and we will not bill a renewal after that notice.

10. Ending your use

You can stop at any time. Deleting your data in the app schedules an irreversible purge of everything we hold for you after a short grace period, described in the Privacy Policy. Cancelling a subscription happens through your Apple Account and is separate from deleting your data.

11. Disclaimers and limits

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for lost data, or for any loss arising from a decision you made based on an analysis.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as that jurisdiction permits.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially reduces your rights we will give notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
